Hi there! I'm Priscilla, founder and CEO of Cooking Social Club with over 20 years of experience in education and instruction.
I graduated with a double major in art and elementary education from the University of Miami and taught Kindergarten through 5th grade art in the Miami-Dade county public school system. I worked as a kids cooking instructor in New York City before settling in CT with my husband and son.
I believe that ALL kids have the ability to learn the skills they need to be self-sufficient in the kitchen. This starts with creating positive associations with food and cooking.
That's why I created Cooking Social Club- hands-on, engaging culinary programming for kids ages 4-16 that helps cultivate kitchen-savvy, mindful eaters in a learning-based, age-appropriate context.
